Currently I cannot even get into the game. I click A to start the game and a few seconds later it crashes to a white screen and then to the xbox dashboard. I had been playing the Xbox one version as I have the cross gen bundle on my Xbox series s without issues and as soon as I tried to play the x/s version all it does is crash. I can't even get into the character screen. I'm tired of looking at that damn boat...
Exactly same symptoms here. Exactly.
Well it's nice to know it's not just me. The crashes are a huge problem for alot of people but I had not found a thread with my exact issue. Hopefully this is dealt with soon...speaking with EA as we speak.
Community ManagerI installed the update and same problem. Crashes when it reaches the screen with the boat.
I have tried power cycling my console.
I have a hard restart of my console.
I have factory reset my console
I have done a fresh install of the game.
Nothing works. I can still play the Xbox one version of the game with no problems.

Have you tried to perform a reinstall of the game already and see if you could directly boot up the current Xbox gen version? There also was an update for the game today.
Community Manager@EA_Leeuw I downloaded the update. I even enrolled in the xbox insider program to try the game on the omega update and nothing. The game just straight up doesn't work.
Community ManagerMy game keeps rubberbanding and sometimes even freezing for up to 10 seconds. Additionally my game keeps crashing every 2nd game.
this started a few days ago. How could this game become even worse? Thought that would be impossible.
I noticed manifest map crashes sometimes, hourglass has ocasional bad performance issues like freezing and fps drops, and the India mapa sometimes has freezing and performance issues
i THINK the rest of the maps run ok, will try to pay more attention from now on
