Black screen and or freeze

I re installed battlefield 2042 July 30th. I'm able to play one match when the match ends I see the ribbon score screen the battle pass score screen then after that it goes to black screen with sound. Nothing happens it just sits at a black screen I then have to end the task thru task manager. I go to steam I verify game files re load the game play a round and the same thing happens, black screen. Other attempts I won't even make it into the match it will freeze on the map screen. I've updated Nvidia drivers,and also updated windows no luck. I've went to Google searching for a fix, found some tips to try and done them, even the command prompt one. I Uninstalled bf2042 and re installed it, same issues. I am now completely wiping my hard drives and re installing windows. When that is complete I'm going to double check and make sure windows is updated and then I will download Nvidia and download the newest drivers. After Nvidia and drivers are updated I then will check windows to see if it needs updated further. Also never had the ea app

GPU- 1080

Windows 10 64

Also I want to note that I had 250 hours played before July 30th, i stopped playing in January. so this is an issue with one of the update.

UPDATE: After factory resting my pc I still have the same issues. Hope the next patch for bf2042 fixes this issue.

@Hard_Attack_HD Inly people at this forum/topic got issues with it !
Many other people got no isseus , that is the reason why they want to see/investigate youre system hardware and software config !
Even poeple with lower specs got it running without any problems, yeah game bugs like stinger no lock sound ect ect ect

Its tricky sometime to find the issue , if its outdated hardware/software or any other issue network, corrupt windows/registry , settings (or even console issues with files / settings) ect ect ect.

If everyone got the same issues like you for example , cuased by s4. then this forum would be realy crowded and some x 1000 more topics would be made and be in posted !!

I got no issues, only ingame bugs as stinger sound for example !
Hope youre issue get solved soon , keep it up !

@Rokebo73 I totally disagree with you, that only people at this forum/topic have issues with the game and all others playing with no issue. A lot of people have no idea about the existence of this forum, or who they can ask about the issues. They basically close the game and start it again or further more they already stopped playing this game a long time ago, because they got fed up of the ultimate number of issues inside the game.

100% Agree, @Rokebo73 ty for the tip, perhaps I will do a full reinstall to play this game, not joking, curious to see if it works.

I have this issue too, black screen after a match, the victory poses screen normally only show the hair, or noting but the flaoting loading symbol, whenever this happens I get infinite black loading screen after and have to close the program. DxDiag attached

@EA_Atic there is a known issue discussed in game chats about a blackscreen after a game is finished, the game does not return to menu. This has like 2 or 3 days.

It's fine, EA just doesn't care about the community or the game. You're going to lose all of your supporters at this rate...

Hello, I know this string is a little old... I've just started playing the game, and I'm having the exact same problems. While playing the game it crashes and the screen turns black. I'm not playing through a PC, I'm on a Xbox series s and I am hardwired into the TV using HDMI cord. All help is appreciated
