Some general troubleshooting steps:
Thanks.
I am having exactly the same issue here and I find it necessary to articulate a recurring and, indeed, deeply troubling observation regarding the quality and stability of games under the Electronic Arts (EA) banner. This observation is not based on mere personal bias but is underpinned by evidence accumulated over 13 years of experience.
It's remarkable to note that games from other developers, even when subjected to extensive modifications, tend to display superior performance compared to their EA counterparts in their base, unmodified form. For instance, Bethesda titles, even after being augmented with an upwards of 300 mods, exhibit fewer bugs than a freshly installed EA game. This stark disparity prompts one to question if the titles released under your brand have truly undergone rigorous testing and refinement processes before reaching the consumer.
I'm hard-pressed not to interpret this pattern as a reflection of the internal culture and values at EA. It raises concerns about whether there might be systemic issues related to product development, quality assurance, or perhaps even a broader corporate ethos that prioritizes short-term gains over the delivery of polished products.
While large corporations like EA have historically held sway in the gaming industry, the technological landscape is rapidly evolving. The proliferation of AI and the increasing prominence of independent developers suggest a paradigm shift in the world of game development. These emerging entities place a premium on quality and customer satisfaction, and they are poised to erode the market share of those who fail to adapt.
I urge you to take this feedback not as a mere grievance, but as a call to introspection. The gaming community yearns for high-quality, immersive experiences. It would be prudent for EA to reevaluate its approach to game development if it hopes to remain a frontrunner in this ever-evolving industry.
