Connection issues

Tried to get in contact with EA support... No luck 

 

Issue: Persistent Mid-Match and Lobby Disconnection Loop

Error Code: 1:4688822970:-4685921B (Battlefield 2042 on PC)

Alredy tried to:

Launcher Update & Cache Flush: Upgraded the legacy EA App to the modern platform framework (Blue Icon). Manually cleared the EA cache folders to force a sterile launcher environment. Total Game Purge: Completely uninstalled Battlefield 2042 and manually deleted the physical installation folder to clear any corrupt legacy files. Completed a 100% fresh, clean download of the game assets. Manual Game Cache Deletion: Manually located and deleted the local game cache directories on the system storage to ensure no corrupted files remained before launching. I have also done the classic turn off and on. Does not work. Its not a networking issue because all my other programs funcion.

  • It's not that hard ....just uninstall game with Revo uninstaller....install it again and also consider using DNS Thanks 🙏

    In the meantime, here are a few community workarounds you may want to try, in case they help you get back into the game sooner:

    1. Uninstall the EA app, then reinstall it.
    2. Verify the game files on EA App while the game is closed.
    3. Disable the EA in-game overlay.
    4. Turn off any VPN or proxy software.
    5. Try changing your DNS settings to IPv4.
    • Make sure the Windows DNS Client Service is enabled:
    • Press Win + R, type regedit, and open the Registry Editor.
    • Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dnscache
    • On the right side, double-click Start and set it to 3.

    Please be careful when editing the registry, as changing the wrong value can affect Windows. If you’re not comfortable doing this, it may be best to skip that step. Thanks for your patience.

    I finally got in contact with support... Hope for the best

    Update: It have been taken to the game devs... Can take some time
