Crash to desktop

Had windows update 3 weeks ago. Stary BF2024 pick a game 64, 128 etc. Goes to map splash screen the crashes to desk top. Tried disable DSLL, Intel graphics adapter, optimized RTX 4090 driver, cleared EA app cache, repaired BF2024, Reinstalled BF2024, reistalled direct x. Unfortunetly, can't go back and install last version of windows pre update.

Any suggestions, this is the only game I am having a problem with.

Thanks Folks!

  • Id like to hear about this too, I keep crashing to my desktop every few minutes after launch, i have done EVERYTHING I mean reinstalling games and anticheats, modifying my cpu undervolts to default and back to undervolt, disabled my ram oc, but nothing works with this game

All the other games work without problems but this sh*t just wont work.

I keep getting these errors in eventvwr

"The EAAntiCheatService service terminated with the following error:
    %%4294901856""

"The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

    EAAntiCheatService
    ExitType: 96 (37)

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table"

  • Try deleting these cache folders.

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32\cache

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-live.Win32\cache

Didn't solve the original error. Crash to desktop on map load screen. Of course nothing from EA support.

  • Still no solution from EA. Crash to desktop when map is loading. Must be a Direct X error. Reisntalling DX does't work. Kinda fed up with this!
