EA AntiCheat encountered an error. Please restart your PC. (9)

I keep getting this message pop up after trying to start up Battlefield 2042. It's been many months now since this problem started, it used to be (11) but now it's (9). I've done what the agent told ...

EA anticheat Service has encountered an error. Please restart the game. <Path of Service> <Error #>

This happens when EA anticheat can't find the installation folder or can’t start the game. There are two ways to fix this.

Relaunch the EA app (even if you got the game on Steam or the Epic Games Store) as an admin by right-clicking on it and choosing Run As Administrator. Then, relaunch the game from the EA app directly.

Reinstall EA anticheat.

    I've already done that and it still hasn't worked, it just keeps showing up
