Error code: 1:86001S:66003S:-891751198O:0B

Question

I tried talking to several EA tech support people and they all keep telling me something is wrong with my connection and that there's nothing they can do for this error. I just don't see how this is an issue with my connection, if every other game I own has absolutely no issues with connection.

The only thing I can maybe assume is that it's something to do with the EA app on PC. I've exhausted every possible troubleshoot that EA suggested I do on my end, with little to no effort on their end helping resolve this. The fact that I'm reading 4 year old forums on this issue and it still being a problem today is very on par for EA.

Any guidance or help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried removing all trusted devices from your EA account? Then logging out and back into your EA account with the EA app?

If you bought the game on Steam, check to make sure your Steam account is linked to your EA account.

I've tried removing trusted devices and logging out and back into my EA account but I still have the same issue. I do have the game on steam so I have it linked to my account, but I've never had this issue with previous titles. I even tried removing my steam account and re-linking it to my EA account but I still have no success.

Are you getting disconnected from the game server in the middle of a match?

If so EA anticheat might be disconnecting you because the anticheat isn't up to date.

I literally don’t even know what the main menu of the game looks like. I just bought it yesterday and each time I launch the game I’m given the same error code every time.

I don’t think this is some technical issue on my end, I genuinely think it’s something with my EA account or the app. I can play any other game perfectly fine no problems but for some reason this one just can’t work.

EA support basically told me I’m on my own to get it fixed because they don’t wanna actually take the time to figure out what’s wrong.
