FIX IT!!!
I mean, it’s kinda helpful full stop, but also, I love playing and seeing the regular players.. I want to chat and make friends.
i have opened a case with EA Help thats a continuation of an error i reported months ago where EA app chat censored everyone. after a few weeks and a lot of back and forth reexplaining the issue it finally worked only to have in game chat errors a few weeks later.
i cant always replicate the way to do this but you have to log in to the EA HELP site where theres always a different way to finally get a "live chat" with a human. if it offers an AI chat thats not it. i found the way of this process on reddit and cant find the post now but the goal is a human chat, explain the issue, explain their response is unhelpful cause weve tried all that stuff with all the time on our hands waiting for them to do anything, then get them to elevate the issue to the "team" and create a case. youll start getting emails where if they asked to explain the issue say youve done that and are instructed you dont have to re-explain. youll have to go to your case on EA HELP and respond to whatever several times. keep this going. do not allow them to close the case without a resolution confirmation on your end. I imagine open cases have a deadline for resolution before higher ups are alerted (seems logical).
its all very stupid but i guess this "hide the human chat" helps keep a bunch of nonsense out.
