This isn't specifically aimed at you OP, But to all the users who claim they were banned by mistake.
It is highly unlikely that you were banned mistakenly, AFAIK without going too deep into it, You could be banned for :
• Having software loaded that has the ability to set Macro's ( G-HUB / Razor Software etc )
• Being toxic ingame ( using hate speech or other forms of abuse in the ingame chat directed at your team or the opposing team )
• Running cheat software or memory scanners.
• Swapping ingame files ( such as using something similar to DLSS swapper which will swap the .dll files with newer releases )
There's probably a lot more that can get your account flagged that I can't think of right now but those are the main ones AFAIK.
Without knowing each use case scenario it's difficult to know the reason for your ban, But the chances of it being a wrongful / mistaken ban are very very low.
That said, Mistakes do happen so if the appeals link doesn't seem to help, Try contacting EA Support and speak to a live agent and go through the motions with them there.
SO we need to get a new mouse and not map the controls to the mouse? HWinfo is a tool to scan the performance of your PC it gets flagged as malicious.
Since March, something like 100+ users have been falsely banned. I had to go to LinkedIn and contact three people to potentially look at my account and overturn my ban only to be banned 4 days later. Without information on what is causing my ban then I have no way of fixing the problem.

This is generally why I avoid using anything that isn't required by the game, I have G-Hub for my mouse and keyboard but I disable it when launching games that use anticheat, Because you can never be too certain as to what software is and is not accepted to be run at runtime with the game active.
It's not the software itself or the features they provide ( macro's not included ) that's the problem when it comes to G-Hub Or Razor, It's the fact that those programs have the ability to set macros and macro's are specifically prohibited in the EA Terms Of Service so it's a given that the anticheat would of course flag those programs.
Another reason as to why EA may not be able to tell you what is causing the issue, Is in the event it is something detected as a cheat, If it were communicated to you, Then that would enable the developer to update said software to skirt around detection, Which obviously EA wouldn't exactly like to happen.
I don't have all the answers, But my go-to is to not use something in the background that isn't required, This includes software such as HWMonitor.
I know the Nvidia App is whitelisted as I've been able to monitor temps and such with that but I wouldn't use HWinfo, It is probably being detected due to the way it hooks into the system or something.

Well, I won't be playing. I got m account unbanned last week and rebanned this weekend after 4 to 10 games. The only way I got it unbanned was by going to LinkedIn and asking people there. Support just responds with generic BS, I guess I can keep making tickets, but they don't care. I won't be buying bf6 and I will be moving to a different title then :(

I removed HWInfo before I played again and got banned either way. I do have Armoury, which is part of my motherboard. So if we don't know what software is causing the bans, then we will keep getting banned?

I have MSI center for my motherboard but I still don't have it loaded for games with anticheat because of the system level access that it has.
You essentially want to have just the game running, nothing else alongside it that may cause issues whether it's communicated or not, This means motherboard utilities, Scanners or debuggers, Network tools ( intel proset config tool for example ), All I have running when I game is Steam, EA App, The game, And Discord, Sometimes OperaGX if I'm listening to music in the background.
Do you have any windows configuration tools running alongside windows? Wintoys for example? Powertoys? any kind of software that allows tweaking of windows running in the task tray?

I don't understand how telling a player "your "xxxxx" software is not allowed because it enabled macros" or whatever is giving away some kind of anti cheat proprietary secret. Like the obvious priority over protecting that information should be allowing paying customers who aren't cheating and don't know what software they have could allows cheating to play the game they paid for. Especially when they have normal stats with 15 years of account history.
Regardless, I have over 200 hours on this game on the same PC with the same mouse and keyboard and literally the only change I have made is updating to windows 11, and installing a program for laser engraving. Also had weird server connection issues for like 2 weeks where it was putting me in half empty servers, before it gave me a random error about anti cheat configuration. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and everything worked fine until I got banned 4 hours or so later.
I think you're giving them too much credit assuming that this even has to do with software that actually allows cheating.

Given that Macros are considered cheating, Then yep any software that has the ability to program macros will be flagged by the anticheat.
It's not a "you are running G-Hub/Razor therefore you must be using macros" kind of thing though, It's a preventative thing.
If the software is running, Macros can be created / used that can for example :
• Change single shot weapons ( such as a DMR ) to an automatic firing rifle or more complex actions. This is why there's an arbitrary restriction on the use of keyboard or mouse software that has the ability to create macros, If you look in the TOS you can actually see macros specifically mentioned as being forbidden under the cheating header.
I know some software can get flagged such as any overlay tools ( MSI Afterburner being one I've heard that's disallowed ) or as others have mentioned in this thread software such as hwinfo or hwmonitor, probably due to the way that they hook into the system or applications, But that's my guess.
It's down to the anticheat devs to decide what to allow and what not to allow though at the end of the day, All you can do is ensure you're running as little applications alongside the game as is possible when playing games that use any kind of anticheat, including kernel level anticheats.
