Dear Developers,
I've been playing this game since 2005 — it's not just a pastime for me, it's been a part of my daily life for nearly two decades. This is the only game I've truly stuck with all these years. I’ve never used cheats, hacks, or any unfair tools — I’ve always played clean because I genuinely love and respect the game.
But now, this recent “security improvement” is breaking the experience for loyal, honest players like me. It’s heartbreaking to see something I’ve cherished for so long become unplayable. It feels like you’re punishing the wrong people.
Please, reconsider the impact this change has on your long-time, dedicated community. We’re not the problem — we’re the reason this game has lived so long.
Couldn't have put it any better. Everything you say I wholeheartedly agree with and so does the majority of Battlefield's player base. About three months ago my account was shut down for alleged cheating. Then, after three unsuccesful appeals about four weeks ago, the ban was miraculously lifted without even a notification email or letter of apology for the unjustified action.
Getting ready to play again, I got the same surpise as you and everyone else. So now, with my perma ban undone, I'm back to status quo again. Guess that'll be the end for me and BF2024. I'll miss the action and as beforementioned daily routine, but this is by far the least painful entry in the series to skip.
I remain hopeful for EA to wake up, revert to an older patch and undo the mess they've made.
If that doesn't happen, I'm out and back to BF1 or BF5 if they did something about the ongoing hackfest infestation considering 5, but I fear I already know the answer to that question.
