I recently signed up for the newsletter in order to receive the Irish skin and MV-38 Condor skin. When I logged into the game, it had a splash screen and said, "Take your new MV-38 Condor skin for a spin!" When I go into Irish's outfits, or the MV-38 Condor, neither of the skins are there for me to select. I verified my subscription, even unsubscribed and resubscribed, and still no skins.
After 2 months of arguing with the Help people, who did everything from state they're looking into it to gaslighting me and telling me the promo doesn't exist, I provided proof in the form of a photo (which I somehow couldn't find before, but managed to stumble upon by chance.) As soon as this proof was provided, I got the following message:
"Please note that we at customer experience, can only help with issues in the game itself, we cannot make changes or correct game bugs. You can however report this at the official forums so that the moderators and Game experts can take note of it and investigate this further."
So what's the point of the help desk if they can't help? And apparently, reporting this on the forums doesn't even attract the attention of moderators and game experts who can do something about it. Especially when reporting a bug in the game itself generates a ticket that goes to the Help desk, who openly admits they can't fix bugs. Talk about a broken system!
Jumping in on this thread. Same issue as everyone else as of March 17th 2025: Signed up on the first day, got the in-game notification but no unlocks. Unsubscribed and re-subscribed, no change. Thought that the issue may resolve itself given time, but doesn't look like anything is going to happen anytime soon. Using EA App on PC.
I tried NUKE42 steps but, unfortunately, they didn't work. I waited a couple of days, logged on/off in-app and in-game, played several matches, but still nothing.
Maybe the following is what actually helped me: I unsubscribed from the newsletter. Then went back to the page where you can subscribe to it, but before subscribing I made sure I was logged in into my EA account. To be honest it, shouldn't make a difference as long as you used the same mail address as the one that is assigned to your EA account. But that's what I did and after playing a round, I received the skins. Maybe it'll work for others too.
I've made two EA Help tickets for this. The first case was closed as "Fixed", second one they finally sent me an automated message telling me to go through the steps to create a case if my issue wasn't resolved. It told me I could "Resume" my current ticket, but clicking on "Resume" only takes me to the automated steps on how to fix a problem, and how to create ticket if it doesn't work. At this point, I'm realizing EA really is worthless for customer service. Too bad they won't send me a survey so I could critique their performance on these issues. I'm thinking they don't even have anyone working there, just a bunch of automated bots that don't fix anything.
Still waiting on those 2 skins, have been playing daily, yet no changes. Gonna have to agree with TacticalPirate, no one from EA Help or general game support has commented on this post, no news, radio silence. Still waiting for a solution, but at this point I really have very few expectations.
I've been playing off and on for over 2 weeks and it still hasn't unlocked. My original case was closed as "Fixed" with no other notes. EA Help is less than helpful. I would say you're a lucky one!
