This looks to me like the known issue with solo/coop, where vehicle spawning and certain gadgets will not work correctly. There is a megathread about it here if you want to read through it:

If you want to play against AI without this happening, I'd suggest building a Portal playlist for yourself. Here are some super quick steps if you haven't done this before.
- Head to https://portal.battlefield.com/experiences and log in with your EA Account.
- Select 'Create Something New'.
- Choose the mode and maps you'd like to play from the available options (make no other changes).
- When you come to the AI section in 'Modifiers' select the PVP AI option.
- You can now save and use the playlist in the Portal section of the game.
