What type of graphics card are you using because I’m using a AMD Radeon RX 9070 Challenger I just got it so I could play BF6 and it worked on BF2042 till they released the 9.2.0 update and that’s when the lagging and freezing started so I pulled that RX 9070 graphics card out and put my old MSi GeForce GTX 1080 back in and the lagging and freezing stopped I could play matches flawlessly again so what I determined it is a graphics card driver issue and I’m about to let AMD know this so hopefully they can get a driver update out because we all know EA stopped customer support years ago and now it’s horrible to get them to fix things
I'm having similar issues with the game feeling unresponsive. I have an Asus Strix RTX 4090 OC, so I expect everything to run perfectly, but ever since the new update, the game has been a freezing, stuttering mess, and I genuinely hate the game now because of it.
My Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3d, Asus Strix RTX 4090 OC, G-Skill Trident Z 64GB DDR5 6000Mhz CL30, WD Black SN850X 2TB and 4TB
Update: I verified the game files on Steam, and it found 3 game files that were corrupted and replaced them. After that, the game ran smoothly even while I was streaming.
I also verified the game files on EA Origin but nothing changed.
