PC Constantly Blue-Screening Randomly During Gameplay

    I got help from generous and patient members of the community, and we found the solution to the crashes in my case.

    What helped:
    - Rolling back windows update (in my case KB5064401, but i saw people name other numbers)
    - Rolling back GPU drivers with clean instalation (i have 3080, so i went to 577.0)
    - Reparing game in Steam once again
    - Uninstalling, Reinstalling and Updating EA Anticheat
    - Closing EA app and running it again with amdin rights

    Dont know what hellped exactly but we did it in that order and crashes went away.

I have had the same problem for two weeks now with the same number of errors, crashes, and BSODs. I have also tried all the solutions people suggest on forums, and it still doesn’t work (updating BIOS and the latest graphics card drivers, disabling overlays in EA, Steam, and NVIDIA panels, etc.—all of them).

Usually, the game crashes within 1-3 minutes. If I verify game files after a crash, Steam always finds 3 corrupt files, replaces them, and then it extends playtime to about 8–10 minutes. It will still end with a BSOD or a crash to the desktop, it just delays the issue.

In 70% of cases, I find errors related to "EAAntiCheatService" at the moment of the crash in the Windows Event Viewer.

My specs are:
Intel  i7-8700
Z370 AORUS Gaming 3 Motherboard 
Nvidia 3080
32 GB RAM
Windows 11
Game is installed on SSD and plays from steam

I should also add that it's not performance issue on the spec side. In previous seasons before new anticheat i was running BF 2042 on High and Ultra setting with 0 errors, good frame rate and 0 bsods. I play a lot of other new games on this PC and have no errors of this kind ever too.

    I've also checked which files end up corrupted after every crash or BSOD. Steam finds them after a file integrity check and redownloads them, which extends the game time by up to 10 minutes before the next crash.

    The list is as follows:

    EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe
    EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll
    preloader_l.dll

    Draw your own conclusions.

      At this point, I am convinced that this issue is entirely up to EA to fix and there’s nothing we can do to fix it. I also have noticed the three corrupted files, but after checking with a few friends who can play 2042 just fine on their PCs, they told me that they also see the three corrupted files. So i’m unsure if they’re the true culprit, at least for me. The specific files which my PC seems to take issue with are specifically “eaanticheat.exe” and “ntoskrnl.sys”. This tells me that it’s more an issue with the kernel level drivers conflicting with something in my case. My assumption is that there’s maybe a misplaced pointer somewhere in the code which causes the memory access violation. That’s my best guess. Other than that, i’m truly at a loss for how to fix it other than begging EA to fix it.

        Experiencing the same issue. diplay feed cuts into a restart or occasionally not even a restart. Not getting this on any other game 
        file verifying also picks up the same 3 files.

        Unfortunately this did not work for me. I think the rollback on the graphics drivers has caused several more issues for me. Now opening the game just causes my monitor to cut out to black, show a “Display Port No Signal” message before promptly causing the rest of my PC to restart. I also noticed after rolling back my drivers that my PC was detecting a second monitor even though I only have one. This caused the display to behave strangely by opening windows off screen on this non existent monitor. Promptly restoring everything right now. I’m glad this solution worked for you though. Hopefully it works for someone else who stumbles across this post.
