Hey guys, as I’m apart as one of the original creators of this thread I have managed to fix the issue.
This is going to sound really strange but I’ll try my best to help you all.
Basically what I did to fix the issue was firstly:
- Unlink your PlayStation connection to EA.
(This can be done on the ea website)
Secondly:
- What you want to do next is then proceed to log out of your account, and then LOGIN again using your PlayStation login.
(YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PSN EMAIL MATCHES YOUR EA EMAIL, otherwise it will not link your account again and it will not work. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.)
You may need to change either your psn email or your ea email to match whatever email you used. If your accounts are using the same email address, it will prompt you to link your accounts which is what you want to do 🙂
Lastly, after your account is linked restart your Ps5 / Ps4, and try to log in on whatever game you’re using, whether that’s Battlefield, Fifa, Madden etc.
Also, I’ve seen that turning off 2 factor authentication works for some people, so please give that a try. I’m sorry if this doesn’t work for some people but this is genuinely what worked for me.

Youll just have to wait for offical word from ea to fix the issue ☹️
