@OldOlden, cheers. I have taken a look at the DxDiag and I can see that you're getting a "LiveKernelEvent 141" error quite a few times. When searching for the possible cause of this error, this points towards a potential Hardware Failure.
Is it maybe possible that you have your PCs overclocked? Either the GPU, CPU, Memory (either XMPC or manual etc.)? Both of my PCs were from the same company. I have not changed them since I bought them. I will try to contact the company and see if they can shed some light on it. I don't even know how to overclock a PC, but will look into that maybe also.
Thanks, and I am hopeful that together we will get this resolved.

@OldOlden, cheers. Feel free to update the thread if/when you have more news to share! 🙂 I spoke to the company that I bought my PC's from. One of the technicians suggested that I get a copy of 3DMARK and run it. This program runs extensive tests on the components and gives results. I ran the program and there were no errors or components that indicated problems. This confirmed my experience that I have never had any system issues with any of the very many games I have played. I have attached a copy of the results of 3DMARK.
This also confirms my experience with Battlefield 2042 since I purchased it when it was first released. Over 360 hours with no problems. Two computers, no problems.
I am retired now, but for 40 years I was in IT. Started coding in Assembler, and eventually became head of IT for a large European company. I have seen a lot of strange issues in my life,
Is it possible that the creation of the Exposure Map is different in a way that is possibly causing my problem? The thing that comes to my mind is the large increase in the number of "effects" on that map. Seems like there are multiple times as many explosions, etc. Not a technical explanation, just trying to share my thoughts.
At this point I don't know what else to try. The "regular" maps are almost empty now, so there really isn't anything I can play at this point. And the Exposure map kicks me out and therefore I get no credit in the game or gain anything in the Season 1 advances/prizes.
I await your reply/suggestions.

@OldOlden, have you tried to play the game via Origin to see if that changes anything? I just downloaded Origin and played a game of Exposure Breakthrough 64. This is half the number of players and there is only one location where the battle is taking place. Having said that, I was able to play twice without any problems. I will try again this evening when the full Exposure Conquest map is available and the number of players is 128. Will update you afterwards. Thanks for the suggestion!

@OldOlden, awesome, I am curious to hear the result! 🙂 Appreciate it. Played multiple games of Exposure Breakthrough 64. Also I was using EA instead of Origin to start the game. No problems at all. So not sure what to say at this point. The real test will be playing on the Exposure Conquest 128 map. Don't know when it will be available again, but I try to play every day,
When the map comes back in the rotation, I will play it and give you a report. Will try first using EA, and if I get errors will try Origin. Let you know how things go.

@OldOlden, thanks a lot, appriciate it! Take your time. 🙂 Spent this past week playing on the Exposure Conquest 64. I am guessing that about half of the matches had crash dumps and thus I got no reward for all of those matches.
Today I contacted the company that build my 2 PC's, and asked what they thought. First they checked all the components in my PC to make sure they were working properly. They also checked for any updates, none were found. The technician was familiar with Battlefield 2042, but he had not played it much. Based on what I told him about the problems, it was his opinion that the issue was not my PC but rather some factor(s) in the the game, most likely the Exposure map.I just spent about an hour playing on the Exposure map with 128 players since it was back in the list of maps. In this time I had 5 "games". In two of them I was able to finish the match. The other 3 ended due to crash dumps, and I received nothing for my efforts to play. This is the biggest issue for me. I would not mind glitches, but when they rob me of any reward, especially with the current season, it takes away any motivation to keep fighting the whole mess.

@OldOlden, gotcha. Thanks for the detailed info and work that you put into this. 🙂
One question; would you maybe be able to make a bundle of the created crash dump files, create a RAR or ZIP file of them and add that here in the thread? Will do
Here are the files. Always get 2 CrashDumps per game that does not complete normally (the issue I have all the time).
Let me know if I can help further.

@OldOlden, thank you very much. Passed them on to the teams to see if we can see something that could be causing this. - EA_Leeuw4 years ago

Hey @OldOlden,
A follow-up question: which in-game Video settings are you using? Could you maybe list them all here, or take a few screenshots?
Apart from that, did you alter the GPU settings that you can change via the Nvidia Control panel (or AMD software)? I have not changed the GPU settings via the Nvidia Control panel.
Here are a couple of screen shots of my Video settings.

Hey @OldOlden,
Thanks for the info and the screenshots. There seem to be some missing settings however. Could it be that you forgot to add 1 extra screenshot? Sorry, forgot the last screen. Here it is.

Hey @OldOlden,
Have you tried to play with the Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion turned off to see if that results in less frequent crashing of the game? The first time I tried it my screen went totally black after about a minute. Had to reboot computer to start again. Have played about half a dozen times since then. Yesterday was pretty good, no errors. But today it is about 50/50: half the time I am kicked from the game, the other time I can play till the end of the match. If it tells you anything, there was only one CrashDump the entire time. The reason for the rest were unknown.

@OldOlden, so no game crashes with Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion turned off, right?
Or do you mean with "half the time I am kicked from the game" that the game is completely cashing? Every day is different. I have Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion turned off since you requested it.
Some days I can complete 2/3 of the games. Other days, I crash almost every match.
Today I crashed in first game, second game no problems, third game crashed. Predominant errors are the CrashDumps.

@OldOlden, alright. So actually, with Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion turned off you do not see any difference in behaviour?
