I fixed it with database rebuild in safe mode

It’s not working also on PS4

Same error occured.

Clicked on connect, white screen and got "Canot communicate using SSL"

PS4

My fix:

1. add several forwarding ports for ps4 on router

2. rebuild database in safe mode

3. install "new" (thought it was on the last available version) systemsoftware 10.01 in safe mode

That doesn’t work

Just downloaded Battelfield 2042 and i cant get it to start on the ps 5 

gets Error message  something went wrong wv-109156-2 and a white screen with numbers 

Error 0x00000023

sslError 0x00000000

ssl connect error 

 how to fix this ?

Man why does that doesn't work. Bro i litteraly tried everything but it doesn't works. I restarted my ps4, i restarted my router, but it doesn't work. Can't you fix this problem, bevause you are ruining the of of playing and we won't, or i won't buy any more games of EA. Or remove that SSL * nooene needs it. 

The same issue with me. It happens every time.

I’m having the same issue, deleted the game and reinstalled it and it is still happening. It is just as i open the app, before it even allows me into any kind of game play.

how do you link ps4 with EA again through website?.. i deleted connection and want to try that

I got it fixed. The problem was that the EA account was not linked to the PSN id. I had to make a new kids account for my son in EA with a new email, then change this email in the existing PSN account so that he would not loose his progress, head back to EA and login using the PS platform option in the login screen.

took me hours to figure that out

im getting WSOCK32.dll error i just bought the game and it was working before yesterday

Hey guys, as I’m apart as one of the original creators of this thread I have managed to fix the issue.

This is going to sound really strange but I’ll try my best to help you all.

Basically what I did to fix the issue was firstly:

- Unlink your PlayStation connection to EA.

(This can be done on the ea website)

Secondly:

- What you want to do next is then proceed to log out of your account, and then LOGIN again using your PlayStation login.

(YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PSN EMAIL MATCHES YOUR EA EMAIL, otherwise it will not link your account again and it will not work. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.)

You may need to change either your psn email or your ea email to match whatever email you used. If your accounts are using the same email address, it will prompt you to link your accounts which is what you want to do 🙂

Lastly, after your account is linked restart your Ps5 / Ps4, and try to log in on whatever game you’re using, whether that’s Battlefield, Fifa, Madden etc.

Also, I’ve seen that turning off 2 factor authentication works for some people, so please give that a try. I’m sorry if this doesn’t work for some people but this is genuinely what worked for me.
