Switching ammunition doesn’t work with alternative button mapping

(dd.mm.yy hh:mm) All the time / everytime Summarize your bug I switched to alternative button mapping like I do on every shooter, but now i can’t switch the weapon attachement which you’d switch by pressing b on the controller (ammunition) while the attachement selection is opened. Instead my character takes out his knive. So I can’t switch the right weapons attachement section right now.How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Turn on alternative button mapping (crouching with right stick) and try to switch the weapon attachement (ammunition) for which you are supposed to press b button.What happens when the bug occurs? Character takes out knive instead of switching weapon attachement What should be happening instead? Character should switch weapon attachement‌the b button won’t perform a switch of the weapon attachement.

I am having this exact same issue on my Series X and was going to post it myself. I’m glad you already have.

It is much easier/comfortable to crouch with the right stick using alternate button mapping by switching B to melee, but when it interferes with ammunition swapping, I have no choice but to switch back to default settings.

I want to play with B as my melee and I hope they see this and can give a quick fix to prevent the knifing action when switching ammunition attachments.

It doesn’t force you to crouch when using the default B= crouch when you switch ammunition so I hope it’s an easy fix.

Same on PS5 - pressing ‘O’ to change ammo type in plus menu causes me to exit plus menu screen and perform a melee action. the ammo type remains unchanged.&nbsp;

Hold the change ammo type button rather then just tapping it.

Workaround (works on PS5) - change controls to ‘custom’, then set Crouch/Prone to L3, melee to dpad up and grenade to ‘O’ (not sure what the equivalent is on Xbox, think it’s B’). You can switch ammo types with no problems and I find having ‘O’ as select grenade is better than dpad up anyway.&nbsp;
