UI elements not loading

I'm constantly getting this in game since game release. Sometimes it works and icons, skins, etc. loads normally, sometimes it's like on the screenshot during whole match and icons are in permanent loading state. It happens with guns, vehicles, attachments, skins, in loadout menu, in T menu, anywhere and with anything really.

EA app client, game installed on SSD Samsung 970 evo. Checked files, reinstalled game, no antiviruses installed or anything like that. I don't have any issues of this kind anywhere else, only in bf2042.

How to fix it? If it's a game client/server bug, when it's going to be fixed?

Haven't found solution, still have this issue. I think the issue must be with game files, because simple icons, skins and other stuff shouldn't take so long to load or not load at all, especially if it was already loaded in previous match.

Ive tried everything mentioned in this post, but nothing seems to work. After 1-2 rounds, the same issue started occurring mid-round or at the very beginning. Its just so random and really annoying. I am a day-one player and have been issues ever since.

  • I have the same problem as the creator of this topic, has a solution been found yet?

It seems like some sort of network issue. I would try disabling Windows firewall and see if that helps.

You can also try enabling universal plug and play (UPNP) in home router settings or assigning the PC a static IP address and putting the PC in the router's demilitarized zone (DMZ). I wouldn't leave the PC in DMZ for long because the router's firewall will no longer be protecting the PC.

Other things to try is disabling IPv6 in Windows OS and/or router settings. You can also try changing the DNS server ip address in Windows settings.

Is there any 3rd party antivirus or firewall software installed on the computer? Maybe it's blocking network connections.
