1200 kills per weapon?

Why do i have to play 60 to 100 games making at least 20 kills a game to rank up one weapon? This is bullcrap and then you disable portal lobbies now i cant catch up with everyone else who have all the attachments. Im trying to play the **bleep** game with the basic weapons and no attachments and im getting obliterated. People are killing me and I can see anybody im just being shot and killed left and right. Im level 13 I have only 1 gun per category unlocked and basically no attachments and after doing the math id rather find some way to speed weapon progression. Anything at all.

The grind was not this bad.  No way in hell.  I remember I had to grind a bit per gun, but it never felt like I was underpowered.
These attachments seem to have way more impact, and are much harder to get.  I still haven't maxed out(got the attachments I want) a single gun, I keep having to switch to others for dailies/weeklies.
I got most of the attachments for one gun each of the Beta weekends.  That felt right.  People who can play all the time seem to want to have a gear advantage over the new and casual players.  "It's only fair we had to grind for it".  Outgearing someone and stomping them is not fair.

Do you really think it is all down to what attachments you have?

Its more about positioning, knowing the map  infact map knowledge trumps any advantage someone has from attachments.

Attachments are just nice to try out as you unlock them.

Are we going to make people with more time have no mini map because they spent more time learning the maps?

All things being equal, those with attachments win.  If you think a base gun and one with an attachment build are "just nice to try out", let's agree to disagree.

If there is a large skill level gap between players, that should be addressed in matchmaking.

  • Also that's assuming all the weapons go to the same level, which they don't. Bummer people are going to have a long grind for the camos and just to get the guns leveled to get the good attachments on them. People may give up soon unfortunately.

Weapon leveling & challenges are based on 8 hours a day sweat lord basement dwellers seeing sunlight once every blue moon. They try and force people to spend their lives on this game and it's very aggressively done. It's beyond delusional to even consider that people will start to play their game 8h every single day for a couple of skins & upgrades. No, what they accomplish is people realizing it's impossible in a decent timeframe and leave. The proof is out there, look at the streaming platforms, Bf6 is dead, gets very little views, because people are fed up with their false promises and taking away the core and most enjoyable features from the game.

  • Unemployed lobbies especially for the operator missions being so objective unfriendly that you throw the game just to make progress in them.
