No it is really not, Battlefield has always been a PVP FPS. No reason to change the roots of a game because skill levels will alway vary between players.
AloysiusMaximus wrote:No, I don't want competitive gameplay against the others.
No hate or anything but have you tried a different gerne of shooter games? Not sure if a PVP based FPS is the right one for you.
Yea the sweats can be annoying, but with a bit of practice you'll find out they're just as easy to kill as the rest.
AloysiusMaximus wrote:It feels like this game is only for people with 15 years of experience in competitive gaming; no place for newcomers or casuals.
It's just a bit of a learning curve when you first jump into the game. Try sticking with your squad and build up from that teamplay. Most of us are only able to play every once in a while after work aswell, but practice makes progress.
AloysiusMaximus wrote:Needing to retrain our nervous systems shouldn't be a requirement to enjoy a game.
As with everything in life, you learn by doing it. Every FPS game is different and handels different. You can't expect everything to handle the same way.
AloysiusMaximus wrote:This is XP farming, right here.
Thats the whole reason why a lot of players want to get rid of the bots enterly and switch back to propper large scale battles from previous titles. This small map cqb cluster f**k (combined with the sliding you mentioned) isn't providing great battles in general.
AloysiusMaximus wrote:No, that huge portion of casual players need a solo v/s bots mode, specifically. No other human player in the match. Just you and your game, your way.
They won't do this becasue of the ongoing XP farm problem. They only way they could add this practice mode is to disable XP and progression in there. Possibly as a locally hosted game so it doesn't take up server space.
On top of that you keep talking about "a huge portion of players". There is not much to support that claim. Again, this is a PVP FPS title and it always has been. No need to change a working concept. Yes FPS usually invites competitive playing, but if you don't like that concept in general i really doubt you're in the right shooter gerne tbh.
Again this not hatred towards you or anyone feeling the same way. But it's like asking a fisherman to fish out of a fishbowl. Or buying a formule 1 car to go offroading.
Bf6 was specificly build around player versus player gameplay.
AloysiusMaximus wrote:But please let this mode have either all weapons unlocked or at least its own weapon mastery development system.
You're basicly asking for a completely different game at this point. This requires more then just a simple system.
I could really reccomend joining the BF Discord and find a few players to squad up with. Focus on squad play and transfer that into team play over time. Fighting with a communicating squad that fights together and conplements eachothers roles will boost you ability to be affective on the field. Don't try to solo or go your own way if you're having a hard time yet. You'll get there when you're ready.
Take it easy out there, you'll enjoy the game when you get the hang of the squad concept. Over time it will get better.

Stopped reading right there, you're ignorant and have no idea what you're talking about. Do some research please, before you spew such misinformation.
PvE with bot matches has been a big part of the franchise (and it's roots) starting with BF1942, BF2, BF2142, BF2042, BF6 (until they removed it 2 weeks after release). We'd like to see it put back in as it was and, as it should be.

Do some research before making comments like this. Battlefield is designed around large scale player vs player combat, that with recent years is getting more involed in the competitive section aswell. Don't agree on that? Go read interviews from Dice and EA development teams, they'll confirm it for you. You can try arguing with the devs and publisher after that.
The previous titles you mentioned didn't all have this bot only mode. Some had a small backfill, a specific mode (available offline for example), or it was available in a form of a dlc.
With that being said keep it civil in the thread, and stick to OP's BF6 subject.
