I'm on console and I'm so happy they toned it down, it was WAY too grabby and threw my aim off entirely. It's feels so much smoother now, I don't feel like it's fighting my input anymore.

I feel the same. I have it turned down very low anyway, but it'd still pull my aim off target, and now I don't experience that too much.
