Aim Assist on Console Should Not Have Been Nerfed

The recent reduction to aim assist on consoles has made engagements beyond 50 meters difficult. Previously, the assist helped make weapons with high recoil—like certain assault rifles and carbines. Now, controlling these weapons effectively at mid-range is a challenge.

As a result, it feels almost impossible for these rifles to compete against SMGs—even at their intended engagement distances. This is partly due to the SCW-10 and KV-9 being overly strong, but the aim assist nerf has exacerbated the issue by making rifles too difficult to control.

It's important to remember that Battlefield has never been a purely hyper-competitive title. For many of us, its strength lies in being a game where players of almost any skill level can find their place and have fun. This change negatively impacts that core experience for the average player. I strongly urge the developers to reconsider this adjustment to preserve the inclusive Battlefield experience that so many of us enjoy.
