Anyone else really wanting to play something besides Engineer??
But can’t because almost every map requires 90% of the team to run Engi or you’re going to get your backside wrecked from tanks and from the air.
As a former Combat Medic I’m really wanting to run Medic occasionally but every time I do I just can’t ignore the number of tanks and helicopters destroying my squad and my team. Especially when most of the time I PUG, I’ll have assaults and sniper squad mates and nobody is running Engi!!
Yes! BF is about vehicles and combined arms but as we see in BF4, BF1, and BFV, not every outdoor map needs a ton of attack aircraft and lots of tanks in order to be an amazing Battlefield experience.
The Gallipoli Campaign in BF1. The jungle maps in BFV. Rotterdam in BFV. These are some great INFANTRY intensive, OUTDOOR experiences that don’t require nonstop tanks and nonstop aircraft in order to be a quintessential BF experience.
Some infantry intense game modes that aren’t all close quarters is/are sorely needed in BF6!!
- Mirak Valley Conquest alternative with 3 Hueys and 5 MRAPS per team with MRAPS and motorcycles at every objective.
- Contagion map Conquest Alternative with 3 Hueys and 5 MRAPS per team with MRAPS and motorcycles at every objective.
Also please consider offering offering Support the option to carry C4 like the Support and Recon can both do in BF4!
