Are parachute spawns not part of Battlefield anymore?

I've basically grinded on sunday to unlock the deploy beacon for the assault class. Only to be shocked to realize that even on big maps that are big enough to feature helicopter and jet combat, deploying on a spawn beacon is ground only and we do not spawn in the air with a parachute anymore like in previous titles. Needless to say i was extremely disappointed. This was such a fun thing in BF3 and BF4 (the two most successfull games in this frenchise). A well placed spawn beacon allowed the squad to parachute onto high grounds, top of buildings, behind enemy lines, onto Islands. The options possibilities and the freedom it give players was basically limitless. If the beacon was placed under a roof, or inside a building it was a ground spawn. If it was placed out in the open it was an airborne spawn on most maps. For me it is such an essential part of the game that i just cannot accept this. Yes i've played the beta, but i thought it is just a beta. I guess i was naive.... I thought surely when the full game launches it will be different with maps like Operation Firestorm,Mirak Valley,Sobek City and upcoming new maps in future seasons.... If the rumors are true and naval maps are coming in the future, i just can't imagine naval maps without parachute drops... If i play Operation Firestorm in BF3 or BF4 i can spawn in the air easily, just need to place the beacon in the open somewhere. So why is this not an option here in this game in 2025 after more than a decade after BF3/BF4? Unfortunately this killed my hype about this game very quickly. Removing this possibility from the gameplay is such a big downgrade....

I'm really not trying to bash the game here because there are many things that is done right.

Please bring back airborne spawns because it was such a fun part of previous games. Maybe give Recon class a different beacon compared to what the assault class has that allows for parachute drops? I have zero problem with assault having a spawn beacon btw. But the gameplay would really profit if there was a way to have parachute drops. I cannot emphasize this more.
