AR's and why are they in the game?

The New AR is objectively worse than all of the other ARs.

Yep. I'm currently playing it to get the camos and it's a complete slog. This is one I'm not gonna bother getting the Unstoppable Force skin for. 

I won't say that all SMGs are better, but odds are better for you using an SMG to win a gunfight.  Mid range they actually have less recoil usually, and deal about the same damage because the step damage falloff model is used instead of an exponential, very good design, very human, such good.

If EA didn't decide to go against the design decisions of real BF games, they would have left the weapon to class locks and this issue wouldn't be anywhere near as bad.  Of course, no one would use AR anyways because assault is the most worthless class in BF6.  

Damage falloff for SMG needs to be increased, all weapons need to go over to an exponential damage curve instead of the smooth brain step graph.  Most ARs need less bloom, but so do all the LMGs, and a few carbines.  

Didn't say I was struggling at all, just pointing out that SMG's are way better than ARs right now, more accurate at mid and long range than ARs, I guess you find reading hard and just want to rage bait people.

Even if the new AR is the worst one, it's still very good. Idk how you're struggling so much.

The New AR is objectively worse than all of the other ARs. you can literally look at the stats, and they are all better overall. even modded its worse than all the other ARs, they generally have better mobility, ROF vs damage, hip fire and handling. i mean Vs the VCR-2, its got better muzzle velocity and reload speed if both have fast mags and extended barrels, but the VCR has better mobility, handling, hip fire and ROF. can't compare precision as the stat for that is bugged on the new guns and reads as 0. But every other metric, it's worse than the rest.

some smgs are good some are bad some ars are good some are bad in season 1 the best gun was the kord in season 2 it was still the kord and the drs ar lmg or whatever its called in season 3 the M1A42 or whatever its called was the best for a bit they nerf and buff guns all the time and don't just compare the new ar compare all the ars
