I really want the next Battlefield game should be 2143 and it can be perfect with detailed story mod. There shouldn’t be a weak story like in Battlefield 6. The new battlefield 2143 game should have an impactful and memorable narrative like Battlefield 1. Also, the gameplay doesn’t need to be extremely fast; on the contrary, it should be more realistic and more tactical. I also think the maps should be large and expansive, rather than small and cramped, allowing for large-scale battles.
I doubt EA is going to go for much slower gameplay. If you look at the games that draw the broadest audience, it's not going to be games like ARMA, Squad or Hell Let Loose.
Those are all very high quality games that have everything that people want from Battlefield in terms of slower "tactical" gameplay and bigger maps. Yet the weirdest thing is that people complain a lot here, but they don't actually go and play those games instead.
You'd expect Portal to be filled with Hardcore experiences, but that's simply not the case.
I'm all for a good story and bigger maps though.
