Battlefield 6 - Match Length, Gunplay & Map Variety Feedback

I’ve been a Battlefield fan for years and I really appreciate the chaos, immersion and scale that the franchise brings, especially in modes like Conquest and Rupture. I’d like to share some suggestions that I believe would make Battlefield 6 even more intense and rewarding, especially for players who enjoy longer matches and high-skill gameplay.

 

  1. Matches should last longer to bring back that epic battle feeling from Battlefield 2042. Conquest, Rupture and Escalation should have around 40 minutes per match, and Close Quarters Conquest should last at least 25 minutes. This would allow players to build momentum, coordinate better and have time to reach 80–100 kills in a single match, something that currently feels rushed with shorter game durations.
  2. The hit marker and reticle should be bigger, like in BF2042. It made hits feel clearer and more satisfying. Long-range fights should also feel more balanced, similar to BF2042’s TTK and damage model, making distant engagements less frustrating and more rewarding.
  3. Respawn times in Conquest, Escalation and Rupture could be faster to make the matches more dynamic and keep players constantly in action. More close-quarters maps would also add a lot to the variety and intensity, giving aggressive players more opportunities to shine.

 

These adjustments would massively increase immersion, chaos and overall engagement, bringing Battlefield 6 closer to that unique, large-scale warfare experience that the community loves. Thanks for reading and for all the effort you’re putting into the game.
