Battlefield 6 has terrible maps, gunplay and gameplay
As a long-time Battlefield player, I have to say that Battlefield 6 has failed to meet the expectations of many fans, including myself. The game feels disconnected from what makes Battlefield special, and the overall experience is disappointing.
Gunplay feels weak and unsatisfying. Weapon feedback, impact, and recoil response are not convincing, which makes firefights feel dull and unrewarding.
Game speed is too fast for a Battlefield title. Instead of a tactical, teamwork-focused experience, it feels more like an arcade shooter.
Maps are too small and lack strategic depth. This completely removes the large-scale war feeling that defines the Battlefield series.
Overall atmosphere feels too similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which damages Battlefield’s unique identity.
Language options are very limited. Some small-population countries have their languages included, while larger communities are left out. Because of this, many players I know decided to refund the game.
In my circle, several players refunded Battlefield 6 due to the lack of language options, poor gunplay, and small map design. I personally plan to give the game a chance until Season 1, but if there aren’t major improvements in gameplay pace, map design, and gunplay by then, I’ll likely refund it as well.
I truly hope the developers listen to the community, bring Battlefield back to its roots, and focus on the elements that made this franchise great in the first place.
