BF6 Cross Progression

So, I have bought he Phantom edition on steam for my pc and have linked my steam account with my EA account which is linked to my Xbox account. So downloaded the free REDSEC version on my Xbox and was hoping the progression would transfer. I just linked everything but i don't see my account on the Xbox. So, my question is, can you have cross progression with a paid copy and a free copy?
