BF6 false ban.
I’m looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with an EA/Battlefield ban appeal. I recently found out my EA account/Battlefield 6 account was banned, but I believe it may have been applied in error.
I had taken a break from the game and, to the best of my knowledge, had not logged in or played since around March 1. My first login since then was this past Friday, May 15, which is when I first saw the ban notice. The confusing part is that the ban appears to be connected to March 10, when I do not believe I was even active on the game.
When I tried to return to the game, the only unusual thing I noticed was being prompted to enable the Steam overlay, and then I saw the ban notice.
I’ve never used cheats, unlock tools, macros, gameplay enhancement software, or anything intended to modify the game or gain an unfair advantage. I submitted an appeal, but EA appears to have completed their review, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle the re-appeal.
Has anyone had success getting EA/Battlefield bans overturned when there was a possible timeline mismatch, mistaken detection, or potential account/security issue? What kind of evidence should I include in the next appeal?
