BF6 Feedback / Bugs / Improvement Suggestions
After playing since release, I'd like to point out some things I've noticed and / or talked about on the official Battlefield Discord server with others:
- Assault class bug: Sometimes, you can't select carbines (or weapons in general) as the Gadget 1 (it's greyed out) even if you have selected gadgets only in both gadget slots. You have to switch gadgets back and forth until it's not greyed out anymore.
- SMG's deal too much damage on long range. They should deal way less damage with greater range.
- Tank range is very short. You can't really do long range shots, you can't even shoot snipers at the tower in Firestorm from half of the map (like the small hill right before objective D). This is very bad for me as a former Battlefield 3 player who loved to have a challenge trying to hit aircrafts with my tank. This is almost impossible now until you're really close to aircrafts. Giving tanks optional long range shells should be an option!
- Snipers basically don't have to compensate for bullet drop. Recently I've played SV-98 WITHOUT range finder and didn't have to aim higher at all. It kind of feels like Call of Duty at some point.
- Next round starts too quickly after a match ends. You have like 5 seconds to see what you've unlocked and your challenge progress. When going back to menu, there is NO option to see your recent match history and unlocks
- Redzone on some maps is way too small, best example: Firestorm on small game modes like Team Deathmatch (redzone starts just a few steps of the road next to the building B objective) but also on larger game modes (half of the sniper hill (D objective side) is not accessible like it was in Battlefield 3.)
I hope some DICE devs will see this post.
