BF6 is going to be terrible, Battle royale is sucks
As long as you keep trying to imitate Call of Duty, Battlefield will continue to lose its identity and loyal player base. The ongoing decline is a direct result of this loss of direction. You haven’t slowed down the gameplay as players have been asking for, nor have you redesigned and expanded the maps. It’s becoming clear that you’re not listening to your community.
We never asked for a Call of Duty clone. You’re abandoning what made Battlefield unique and instead chasing trends that don’t fit this franchise. Even Call of Duty lost players because of meaningless skins and flashy cosmetics — and now you’re repeating the same mistake. The result speaks for itself: player satisfaction has dropped from around 87% to 70%.
The newly added “Redsec” battle royale mode is completely unnecessary. Nobody in the Battlefield community ever asked for a battle royale mode. You tried the same thing with Battlefield 5, and it failed. Clearly, that’s not what Battlefield fans want.
Please focus your efforts on improving Battlefield 6 itself, not on gimmicky modes. The game is currently too fast and chaotic — it literally causes motion sickness for some players. There are people with epilepsy in the community, and many of us are 35–40+ years old. Yet the gameplay seems to be tailored only for a 12–13-year-old audience that just wants speed and flash.
Battlefield has always stood for tactical, immersive, and large-scale combat — not arcade chaos. If someone wants a hyper-fast shooter, they can play Fortnite or Call of Duty. It’s time for Battlefield to return to what made it great in the first place.
