BF6 Needed Improvements

It would be nice that when we linked our accounts we had a unified level, I own the game on PC and Xbox, but I shouldn't have to level both of them, I can't it's hard enough to unlock the gear especially with the challenges for the regular game, it should've just unlocked by rank.

Save challenges for special events.

Also, you should filter by controller type, mouse and keyboard should play with mouse and keyboard and controllers should play with controllers, I play on a PC mainly, but due to my disability I cannot use a mouse and keyboard, so I use a controller, there's a difference, I don't care what keyboard users say it's the superior way to play, aim assist doesn't give controller users unfair advantages, mouse and keyboard always has the advantage, being able to drop dpi resolution on the fly, quicker response peripherals, etc. Not even close if I could I'd be using a mouse and keyboard.

Also, the game has higher latency and lower frame rates than it should, I have a 5990 OC and water cooled and a 3090 and get dips into 90 fps at 1440, that shouldn't happen, I get it, just released, and it will be optimized, but frame generation and upscaling I don't use, or want, so when I talk about optimization, I'm talking old school rasterization don't care about ray tracing either, don't believe the performance hit is worth it. I run it at 100% resolution no upscaler or frame generation. My card should run without dips below 200 fps @ 1440 with my graphic tweaks to BF6 in settings.

Other than that the bloom, which you already are aware of, I hope that the movement fix wasn't to add bloom as well, I don't mind the feel of the game currently, I believe it would be worse to increase movement and add bloom to dissuade players from bunny hops and other movement hacks you can do when your PC gets 300 FPS without frame generation moving around plebs getting 90 FPS just too big of a gap to play together. Dunno what the fix is other than to use more than just PC to matchmake like control type, PC power, and connection should all be considered. You do that, you don't need to worry about skill, and just monitor people with incredibly high kill to death ratios that don't play bots, they're probably using hacks, played with a few, not as bad as COD, but once it starts, it gets bad, quick.

Other than that an excellent game, other than the grind and challenges to get the weapons and guns that came with the game, not a fan of that.

Is your name the exact same on PC and Xbox? They should be connected via your ea account. I haven't bought it for my Xbox yet, just the PC, if nothing transfers over I won't ever buy it for Xbox then

  • I disagree. Gamepad players always have an advantage. In the games I play, all the high-scoring players are gamepad users.

Aim assist is a legal cheat created by developers.

That's why I support you. We need a setting that keeps all gamepad players out of the game, not just console players.

This game is PC-heavy, and it's an IP preferred by CoD players who suffer on the PC side. Please don't let console aimbot users ruin this IP, DICE.

As someone that first played BF1942 on PC decades ago and was a PC gamer exclusively, that's why I brought up PC tiers as a way to matchmake, if your on a PC but you don't have a 5090 or other God level tier PCs and getting 300 FPS in the game at this early state it may seem, like a disadvantage but it isn't, look into lowering overall latency in game.

Use the BF6 FPS counter in game under system, when turned on it will default to left upper right corner, see if your GPU or FPS is getting more FPS, if it's your GPU then go into graphic advanced settings and set to the lowest settings anything that is high CPU that will help with FPS and latency, then get a high dpi low latency mouse, use the dpi and not in game sensitivity to dial in your regular and ADS zoomed sensitivity.

The accuracy and on the fly dpi drop is a far more advantage in game than the slow reaction and low dpi resolution of controllers with aim assist, even with TMR thumb sticks, which do help, but not as much.

I don't believe the exact user name is the issue as that's all front end stuff, on the backend is where they link up the accounts over the shared networks, but I'd like to get a clarification from someone within EA if it would, because to me it wouldn't make a difference before switching my EA user name for no reason, and that's sadly how EA is implementing it currently. Nothing of rank carries over, you would essentially have to rank up twice. Yea they gotta fix it. Unify it, again could someone from EA let us know either way?

Really appreciate your help on this matter in advance.

    Thanks

Update whoever is on the forums and fixed this issue, thank you, I can now confirm that yes it does share the level between PC and console and updates, for whatever reason it wasn't probably had to do with the missing multiplayer and campaign bug I had on launch day.
