BF6 Needs A Server Browser

I often see requests for a server browser on social media. I agree that a server browser is necessary, but when hosting a community event, all you need to do is search in the server browser, making it easy to jump to the same server. With the current system, you can't jump to the same server unless you jump from your friends list.

I'm happy to let you know that Server Browser will enter Battlefield Labs testing ahead of its planned release in Season 5 as part of Phase 3, giving players an early opportunity to try the feature and help us refine the experience.

We are also exploring how the Server Browser can support a more persistent match flow, make it easier to remain with other players between rounds, and complement the existing matchmaking experience.

We will share a closer look at the Server Browser interface and the options available for finding servers as Battlefield Labs testing approaches. For now, here’s what we can share with you on our progress.

The server browser needed to be in the game yesterday! Since the removal of the Golmud Big Modes playlist, it's a headache getting full Golmud servers, or just full Conquest servers in general.

YESS!!! I have more than 4 friends who want to play, but they can’t join our game because bots load in and aren’t kicked so my friend can fill in. A server browser would allow for us to all join with a server with enough slots.

So many things like better filtering or a server browser will never really work right unless regular matchmaking gets persistent servers like portal has. Portal could have been somewhat of a solution but it's a mess just like 2042 with tons of bots and xp farms and other garbage servers...not to mention terrible filtering for finding the handful of actual useful servers. So the real fight needs to be for persistent servers in regular matchmaking otherwise we'll never have proper map rotation and we'll always be disbanding every single match and starting over again.

Please expand the search filter in the matchmaking and add more options as discussed in the below

Just add a server browser It's so simple but they refuse to do it, they will give every excuse they can find to avoid it and this game will be regional locked like 2042 meaning the game will be dead in certain regions in 6 months unfortunately that's the reality they want!

Yep. I have 6 friends who want to buy the game, but in beta we can play together only if they start connecting to us when we find the game lobby. So, if there will be no server browser on release it will be difficult to play together.
