BRING BACK 2042s SOLO/CO OP!!! WOULD BE COOL IF BF6 HAD IT!
Battlefield 6 is an all-round better game than Battlefield 2042, but the main reason I played 2042 was the solo/co-op mode.
I’ve played consoles my whole life and think I’ve just grown out of PvP games. I prefer games where I feel like I’m in the characters’ shoes in the most realistic way (like Manager Career in FIFA, COD Spec Ops, you get the point). In games like BF6, you spawn in and get killed within five seconds unless you’re a bangout. You can say I’m bad at the game, but I don’t care. I prefer playing to make me feel like a soldier at war, not to compete with other people. I care more about logical gameplay than competition against gamers. I’m a grown man not a kid no more.
The only thing I didn’t like about playing with bots (judging them from 2042) is that they don’t fly air vehicles properly when playing 1942 on Portal mode. The pilots would fly ww2 planes then crash them onto the floor or kill everyone in the vehicle by flying it out of the map. And they don’t drop bombs or shoot other planes, don’t think they dogfight either in any of the modes.
However, I still prefer playing with bots in general.
And in BF6, the bots don’t even get in any vehicles like they did in 2042. The Portal mode is still good (reminds me of forge in halo), but it doesn’t have options where you can choose bad co, BF3, etc.
XP farming doesn’t bother me too, but I see why EA didn’t add it. It’s an easy way to get rewards, but for someone like me, it doesn’t bother me because I prefer playing with bots.
But back to the main thing, EA.. bring back solo/co-op PLEASE! I haven’t played BF6 as much even though I pre ordered the phantom edition because it just doesn’t feel right playing then dying two seconds later, especially by people camping and sniping from nowhere.
in other words, I’d rather play offline and feel like a soldier in a war, creating my own story of the battlefield rather than playing with other players.
bf6 could potentially be one of the best games ever if my prayers are answered… ea hear me out… please!
