Broken matchmaking system?

I am a Silver 2 player and I would like to ask about the matchmaking system. Why am I getting placed in lobbies with Top 250 players? Do you consider this to be normal?

  • Honestly, as a very mediocre player with a terrible K/D, I would love to play against top 250 players if given the chance.  Playing against better players would help me improve.

  • That's true. But I think it's much better to play against a Gold player rather than the number one player in Europe. Those of us who aren't that good simply can't compete at that level. If anyone wants to argue that it’s constructive, I challenge them to find a top 50 player in Europe and play a 1v1 against them. Let's see just how 'constructive' that really is.

I never said 1 vs 1, you did.  However, if I could play 1 vs. 1 against top 50 players, I most certainly would just for the fun and challenge.  What's to be afraid of?  I don't get it.

  • I'm literally watching a stream right now where four top 100 EU players are just cruising through the map and dominating. Even they admitted it’s not fair to play against Bronze players, and mentioned this was a huge problem in Apex Legends too.

  • Ranked should take care of ranking. I don't want to be matched with Iron players when I'm Diamond. IF I QUEUE FOR RANKED, IT'S TO PLAY WITH PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING AND ARE AT MY LEVEL. I don't want to play with random console kids blasting their open mic WHILE THEIR MOM IS SINGING IN THE BACKGROUND !

This feedback, combined with the sheer number of bugs we've had in Redsec, is honestly a shame. You don't deserve your community or your game (which is actually great overall).
