Can I go back to keep working on season 1?

Is it possible to go back to continue working towards the season 1 unlocks?  I took a break from Battlefield and didn't know that the season was ending and now am so disappointed I can't go back to finish unlocking everything.  I know Halo works like that where if you pay for a battlepass you can always go back to make progress towards those unlocks if you're not working on the new one.  Makes me really not want to purchase another battlepass or cosmetic for battlefield ever again honestly.  I feel like if there's going to be a time limit on the season that should be announced from the start so you know exactly how long you have to complete it before you make the purchase.
