SUPPRESSION MEANS — NOTHING!

This game severely lacks suppression, it makes the support class... not supportive. The whole point of suppression is to cause an effect to the enemy that is makes their target acquisition problematic and keep their heads down. But its not in the game, so whats the point of being an LMG? 

It pisses me the **bleep** off when im laying down fire (especially at snipers, countering) and it means NOTHING because they can very easily snipe me like a brave hero with no fear of high velocity rounds pounding near and into their body and face.

You need to take a look at BF1, and implement that style into the game. Surely its not that hard to add a screen effect and gun wobble... 

Ive been asking this for a while now. I get no recogintion or hopes of it getting implemented. It affects the gameplay and pisses me off.

Heres another attempt at getting zero result. Who are you even listening to?

Fix. The. Game.

  • I agree. I’d like to see something more with suppression. I believe all it does at the moment is prevent health regen.  In past games it would affect vision and movement if I remember correctly

    I find the issue not directly tied to suppression, but more so with the lack of team coordination. If someone is suppressing on my team with a tank, LMG, w/e, I'll take advantage of a flank, objective opening, counter snipe, etc. if needed. But most players tend to focus on k/d in a objective game modes so... maybe also reward objective playing more.

    I do not think suppression is coming back to the BF series... LMGs are perfect for BR because of ammo capacity. TDM, and Conquest, not so much...

    Sad but true, individual killstreaks are more important with current gameplay mechanics... instead of squad success, individual success is more exposed. Without squad leader, rally beacons, perks, orders, squad strikes as rewards, and commander mode, Conquest will always be a really bad version of Domination in bigger scale with tanks.
