Nobody is really talking about this?
The RPG takes no skill to destroy heavy armor. They seem to do more damage than a tank shell, even the AP round. The flight speed of the rocket is lightning fast and completely effortless to hit moving heavy armor or helicopters.
Seems pretty ok, had a tank getting hit with multiple RPGS and I kept pumping as an engineer almost the whole game, and he only died twice. so idk. A Tank mine does 650 dmg, which is like 1/3rd hp...
Its pretty much impossible for a single engineer to destroy a tank or IFV on their own. 3 hits to the side with an RPG will not kill a tank. Plus, half the tanks I run into have a full F1-racing style squad of engineers repairing it the entire time. In the beta I was able to kill tanks solo if I managed to get all three shots into the back of a Tank or IFV.
Also, theres literally equipment you can put on your vehicle that scans for mines in the area and pings them. Not to mention they stick out like a sore thumb on their own without the equipment.
back in the BF3/Bf4 days we used to have more than 3 or later if u unlock the M136AT/ Javelin which comes only with 2 rockets
average dmg of these two is 350. the Javelin spiked for me once at 413dmg but its buggy now where the Missile plunged into the Ground after fired 80% of the time ...
However u can kill Tanks solo but its **bleep** disgusting how
sneak up to a vehicle lay one mine, throw greande and switch to ur launcher ...
or attack from above .............
I would trade my second equipment for an bigger backpack which gives me 6+ Rocket any time i spawn or let us build Heal station just like in BF5..
In BF3 we had 9+1 Rockets
in BF4 we had 4+1 as standard
and with the Field Mod we had 6+1 Rockets

You know how you know when something is overpowered? When more than half the players are playing Engineer with RPG. Vehicles are practically useless with all the anti aromor that's available. When you get into and IFV or Tank, all you hear is RPGs flying by. It's kind of a joke at this point.
if anything, rpg is under powered, you can fire a rpg and it lands beside a enemy on foot and you only get 5 hit damage, this needs to way more powerful. This should be the same damage at least as a frag grenade.
Against tanks its fine, if you have a squad of engineers with rpgs they are playing the game correctly.

I think mainly the velocity of them needs to be slowed down a bit. Maybe not as slow as bf3 RPG's but give more time for choppers and tanks to react slightly. Taking out choppers in bf3 with an RPG was awesome because of how slow it was and you really had to aim and predict the shot which was pretty satisfying.
When the RPG is better than something you have to work towards to unlock in an assignment (M136-AT), there's obviously a problem.
The people saying it's not overpowered aren't vehicle players.
I don't find it takes much skill to kill infantry in a tank either, so at least it's fair :)
Tanks are big slow targets. The fact they can take multiple rockets is already impressive.
In tight maps I found it pretty easy to trap enemy armor leaving their spawn. 1 mine + 2 rpgs in the back blew up anything. Same with 2 mines and 1 rpg into the back.
Basically got to destroy 2 vics without any help from others. Also if you spend some time to pre-supply from an ammo bag after u spawn, you have even more tools.
