Cap areas too small?

We got so used to seeing the amount friendlies vs enemies on a flag that it really helped deciding what to do, with how small the cap areas are you just capped something just to walk 2m into the face of a random enemy you never knew was at the same flag.

How can they be called capture points when they are so small the enemy is still near, so in a way the capture point isn’t actually captured at all.

Some flags are fine while others are comically small. You need information to make tactical decisions in a BF games, but small flags lack the information to do so, just adds to the random chaos.
