Level doesn't matter.
K/D is the right way to go.
If a very good player like Uniting switch from 2042 to BF6, will with Level 10 kill all.
His incredible 214 Kills on Liberation Peak in Multiplayer shows it exactly. His Level was'n high.
Look in YouTube.
No disrespect man, but K/D means squat, too. Bot servers boost your KD and easy kills on 2042 and BF6. 214 kills is also hack territory on a non-bot match, bro. Mr YouTuber is probably hacking or on PS5 using that crazy controller.
As for a level cap, yeah, I gotta agree there. As soon as you hit over lvl 100, you should no longer be matched against lower players in casual, it's easy enough for the game to fill it in with bots without lvl 300+ sweatlords wrecking everyone's fun. Btw, those guys are 99% sitting on those bs lvl up servers, where you literally just sit there and do nothing, and you get XP for it. Utter bs.
Anyways, stats in BF haven't meant anything since BFV, and even then, that game was just full of hacks with little to no live support and anti-cheat that a 4-year-old could circumvent on pc. So you couldn't even trust it. BF3 and BF4 were the most solid for stats, especially if you played on console. My BF4 KD was in the 20's, mostly because I was a little bird king on Xbox at the time, I'd wreck full servers with my old squad mates while they repaired the heli lol. I felt dirty sometimes lol, but it was hella fun.
Hopefully, BF6 gets fixed soon. I'm done until they make a ton of things right.
Cheers!

Level means nothing. I got smoked by LvL 20... later I checked dodgy stats on the scoreboard, and he had 28 kills and 2 deaths on Domination. I am 99% positive he was cheating because of pre-firing and amazing situational awareness.
I think the game should match newcomers in the first 15-20 games, then the game algorithms should decide according to stats whether to match them further with LvLs over 200. Some sort of soft version of SBMM for newcomers should be available for real. I was matched with several 200 LvL and one 300... A friend of mine joined me with LvL 50, and I am ranked almost 200. The enemy was destroyed, putting it mildly because my mate is a comp player from BF2 era xD. His team won a cup in 2007 if I am not mistaken.
