Fix the game by changing a couple of numbers.
1. We need to disable camera rotation when turning vehicles (even on motorcycles and ATVs, not just tanks). Keyboard mousers are forced to fight with their own camera; why do we need help with aiming the camera in vehicles on PC?
2. Give smoke grenades to all classes, or at least to the sniper and assault class; without them, it's impossible to rush positions.
3. Restore the range of the sniper gadget that kills C4s, claymores, drones, etc. to 50. Why was it necessary to reduce the range to 15? Now you can't even kill a drone with it; it was the only reliable way to remove claymores before entering a building.
4. Reduce flashlights, specifically the area-of-effect light, and the angle at which they blind. When they shine on you, you can't even see the enemy's outline (restore the BF4 standard).
5. What about the cost of some attachments? The new Scorpion pistol needs its big magazine reduced to 35 so it can at least be scoped. This primarily hurts PC players. Reduce the cost of the largest magazines for machine guns. 55 isn't serious.
6. Reduce the damage of the SMGs at range.
7. MANDATORY restore the ADS FOV setting; it's impossible to play without it. You're always forced to run with high-power scopes.
8. Remove movement slowdown and reticle shake when you're hit. Why encourage a rat-like game where everyone sits in corners, where you can't rush any position, where you can't see your own reticle? The game (shooter) is supposedly preventing you from seeing where you're shooting at all costs...
9. Shooting pistols and shotguns on slugs is garbage; the reticle takes forever to return to the center of the screen. This doesn't encourage skill-based play at all. Look at the statistics to see how often people hip-fire with a pistol compared to aiming down the sights. Then compare aiming down the sights with a revolver in, say, BF4 and BF6. See how quickly the crosshair used to return to the center of the screen, but now you simply can't aim for heads.
10. Lower the cost of Hollow Point and synthetics to 10 and 15, or better yet, 5 and 10. Specifically, raise the base headshot multiplier for the SL9 to 1.5.
11. In general, trying to balance guns equally for basic multiplayer and redsec is a failure.
12. Why is a fire grenade more blinding than a flashbang? Someone throws a Molik into your path and you completely lose sight of anything through it.
The developers had a good example of movement in 2042 and in Beta 6. They released BF6, which is much more intense than previous games in the series. They removed the movement and added a bunch of guns that obliterate players in a third of a second. And now, if everyone starts shooting at you, you're dead. You can't jump behind a wall or texture, or outshoot someone with skill. You're slowed to a crawl, the camera shakes, the sound cuts out, drowned out by groans from blood loss. ALL OF THIS STRONGLY PROVOKES A ONE-KILL, ONE-DEATH GAMEPLAY. The game gives victory to the first person to start shooting, regardless of the player's skill. It's sad.
