Cheating and cheaters

Hoping a popular pvp game without cheaters is like hoping a world without criminals.

It sounds good until you realise that is just not the reality we are living in.

I'm not saying it's good, it's just the reality.

The real question is how developer deal with that, anti cheat solution should exist, they need keep up and get it under control, it's a forever cat and mouse game.

But how far they should push anti cheat is fine line need to be balanced.

Does few cheaters they may or may not caught worth putting 99% players' system privacy and security at risk?

It's a f* video game at the end of the day!

Remember CrowdStrike bluescreen incident in 2024, even if you somehow trust EA not spy on you, one bad kernel update ruined systems around the globe!

I'll put these games on a separate system on another drive, or separate PC if you can.
