It absolutely feels like consoles get advantage. All you have to do is watch some console gameplay to recognize this. The game essentially plays for them, and the only requirements for them are to be in about the right place at the right time, and press the right buttons. It's like a location based QTE game for them it looks like.
It's made even worse by the fact that each group wants crossplay off. Consoles don't want to play with PC, PC doesn't want console, EA has even come out and said they hear us and understand... but they won't let us turn off crossplay.
It's moronic.
