Custom Search & matchmaking does not work at all

The purpose of the custom search is not to get into any match in the span of 3 seconds but to get me into a match that I want to play.

When I search for Conquest on all maps except for Mirak Valley, Firestorm and Liberation Peak, it baffles me that the game puts me on Mirak Valley after searching for 2 seconds.

We are a week post launch, hundreds of thousands of players active at all times, there is no way that Mirak Valley was the only available Conquest match on EU servers starting in the next minute.

Even more frustratingly, due to the head-scratching absence of a Rush (advertised core mode of the game) playlist, custom search does not work to give me Rush matches. Despite only selecting Rush, I constantly get put into Breakthrough matches. Also, I've seen high ping players in my servers, again showing that despite the record high player count, ping is not prioritized over time to find a match.

The matchmaking is flawed from a technical perspective, just let us play what we select. Give players one playlist of each core mode (Conquest, Rush, Breakthrough, Escalation) and then STICK to these modes, don't mix them unasked. For linear modes, have return legs with the same players where attack/defense is switched. Also, implement a "if x = last map, next map =/= x" code, it cannot be that hard. I don't want to defend on the same map twice in a row.

In the custom search, prioritize PING and exact matches even if it takes 30 seconds instead of 3 seconds. People go to the custom search for a reason, they want to play that map/mode, otherwise they wouldn't use it. If the custom search worked, it would actually be a great feature as you can select your own map/mode rotation but in the current state it is frustrating.
