I completely agree!
I myself have been playing the BF game series constantly since BF4. BF6 looks beautiful, sounds great, and has all the favorite game mechanics that have been proven over time. However, the gaming experience in BF6 is absolutely frustrating like never before. The gaming experience is comparable only to BF 2042 in a negative sense, maybe even worse.
Extremely short TTD combined with a confusing environment and aim assist for controllers is a complete disaster for the feel of the game. My long-time teammates have already left BF6 after their initial enthusiasm for the game, precisely because of the extreme TTD. Any technical shortcomings are negligible compared to when the game is "unplayable." Yet it would take so little to make the game much better. If I can't see my opponent, the graphics are confusing, there are too many effects, the strategic points on the map are too open, the vehiceles and snipers are too OP - none of that matters if the TTD is long enough for me to react to the enemy's actions. I'll return fire, throw a smoke grenade, manage to take cover behind an obstacle, etc.
With a short TTD, I can't do anything but die.
