Devs claim to be listening to the community

Based on recent updates and what the community in general have asked for I would say they haven’t listened at all, and are quite frankly clueless without the community holding their little hands.

it seems the only ones the devs are listening to are the EA accountants, based on the creative choices made.

netcode is probably the biggest issue in the game along with the mediocre maps. Last update the devs managed to make the netcode worse, and now they have gone silent on the topic,

After the bf6 beta the community asked for bigger maps, and instead we got empty maps…

The limited communication and the season 2 update was so absolutely inadequate that I must say one paltry medium sized map going into testing won’t save this game. EA don’t seem to realise that when this ship sinks, it will sink battlefield for the future too.

  • 100% they are not listening!

The drone/EOD bot bug thread has been going a while and ignored.

Secondly players have been saying that 1 or 2 maps per season is not going to survive! The premium system had more content and maps and yet the current version is their chosen way? Barely any maps and content. One weapon added but here have battle passes, players don’t want that.

Yes, the game was the best shooter BUT it’s short lived because the content is lacking. The game I feel is getting boring now with the same maps over and over, you quit some because of a map you do not like, load another and oh look it’s one of the 4 maps on rotation!

Maps are massively needed big time with guns. Stop the skins, stop the battle passes and actually make some actual content.

We need the premium service with that level of content because it’s literally failing sadly. We’re not being listen too and we can feel it.

  • It's like they have fallen asleep, or have stopped putting any effort in what so ever and expected the initial success to continue. Quite frankly I'm amazed in the stuff they have done since the launch of the game, really everything added has been dismal.

I get they don't want to look at the forums, a lot of people can't take criticism, even when it's justified and the reasons for it are logical. But it's difficult to see where the problem lies internally, I have a feeling upper management just wants to build a game they want to sell, with the sole focus on micro transactions. They seem to not understand there will be no one left to purchase the coins/skins if there is no one playing the game.

Also... if you want to sell skins and such, maybe don't make them look quite as awful?!?

I only have 3 maps that I play and only 20% of the matches are fun. I can literally go online, get rolled over 4 times, have 1 good game, get rolled over again, have a brilliant game but then there is a blatant cheater on the other with 46 kills, 128 ping and still a third of the match to go LOL. This is typical BF6.

Without community servers, this game is DEAD.

  • It takes months for what a competent developer could fix in a few days. They just don't care.

  • You can tell the Devs aren't great... the good people have left and have made games like Arc Raiders, but the decisions made by this dev team are baffling.

OMG, I literally could have written this. You summed up exactly what I’ve been experiencing. It’s gotten so frustrating that I’ve only played once or twice this week maybe an hours worth each time…whereas with previous versions of the Battlefield series I would play every night for a minimum of 4+ hours each night.

Like you, I’ve “lol’d” at the bizarreness of the game. It’s almost as if the developers are completely dumbfounded as to how to fix. It’s almost like asking a brand new driver to change a tire. Did EA/Dice release the programmers after the game was made?  Akin to saying, “Okay, game is made. We don’t need you guys anymore. We’ve got Johnny in Building Maintenance.  He’ll fix any issues we might run in to…bleach will fix it because Johnny says it will. No, we don’t care how much experience you have over Johnny…his dad is the CEO and he says Johnny needs a job…. So that’s the way we’re going“. (maybe this game does need bleach…as in Bleachbit?!?!?!).

Anyway, you are spot on about the game.

The visual aspect of the game is also bugging tf out of me. Have you seen the leaks for S2 skins?? After all the backlash with Wicked Grin they haven't learned a single thing and they will add like another 5 skins with skull masks / smiles on their **bleep** faces. Its so **bleep** corny and cringe, theyre trying so bad to be Call of Duty.

Honestly considering leaving the game. It gets to a point.

Its almost as they are focusing their efforts on making 35 skins each season that cater to 12 year olds and cod players rather than working on the Battlefield identity and staying true to what they said about BATTLEFIELD 6 BEING A *GROUNDED* game
