Devs Hate The Community / Portal is STILL Dead
As I type this while trying ot play a hardcore Breakthrough game - which doesn't exist anymore if you want real players, bots, and XP - I realize this game is truly dead to actual Battlefield fans. It's been completely handed over to CoD.
These devs clearly don't read these forums or take into consideration that Battlefield should be compared to classic Battlefield games - not the mindless mess that is CoD.
Once CoD players get bored and move on, this game will be left in the dust - all because the devs refused to listen to the community. And I hope to see this happen soon.
Fixes That Devs Need To Address (Which They Won't)
- First and MOST IMPORTANT: Respect the classic Battlefield players and actually listen to their feedback.
- Fix Portal and XP. Portal is the only hope to experience Battlefield how it should be. For goodness sake, let us create specific hardcore mpa rotations with minor tweaks, full XP, and bot backfill - especially since most custom servers never get seen by anyone.
- Allow true map creation. Let us build maps from scratch instead of just modifying existing ones.
- Bring back old Battlefield maps into Portal so we can escape these new CoD-style maps.
- Bigger, better maps. Large-scale is what defines Battlefield. And that's just gone...

Cod
More Money
Warzo... I mean Redsec
