All im seeing is "remove anti cheat for us a specialized minority of advanced pc users who have a high chance at experimenting with cheats and disruptive behaviors, we pretend we see nothing wrong with that even though we are advanced end users".

No one wants anti-cheat to be removed.
People want it to work in Linux. Easy Anti-cheat works fine in Linux and many of us play titles that utilize it.
Javelin is an EA product, with minor tweaks they could release a Linux compatible version and it would be just as "safe".
Also Linux users are no more advanced than anyone else, nor are Linux users any more likely to cheat in games than others. - Eth1us4 months agoNew Novice
I'm sorry you see it that way. We're not asking you to switch, we're asking them to add support like other companies have done. In reality it's just our choice of operating system. I use my computer for other things that do not run on Windows either. In fact, for me Windows is difficult for the same reason Linux is difficult for you, I'm not familiar with it. Same goes for MacOS, I can barely use that keyboard. There are companies that have made it work and loads of games we can play that have anti-cheat.
